Arm and shoulder pain can stem from a variety of causes, including muscle strain, tendonitis, rotator cuff injuries, or nerve impingements. These issues often arise from overuse, poor posture, or trauma, leading to discomfort and limited mobility. The pain may be localized to the shoulder or radiate down the arm, sometimes accompanied by symptoms like weakness, numbness, or tingling.

Although the pain may be located in the extremity itself, a lot of times the root cause of the pain is coming from misalignments within the spine. A large percentage of the arm and shoulder are under neurological control, so addressing the spine directly can have a major effect on the extremity.

If the cause of the problem is coming from a misalignment of a joint in the extremity, there are various adjustments that can be performed to that specific joint. Whether that be the shoulder (glenohumeral or acromioclavicular) joint, the sternoclavicular joint, radius and ulna, you can ensure that a specific Gonstead analysis will find the cause of your pain!
